Senior Quality Manager - Cosmetics Regulations

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join our team at Clorox, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our cosmetics regulations. As a Senior Quality Manager remote, you will provide strategic leadership aligned with our plant and enterprise business objectives, fostering a culture of quality across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing QA/QC organization by fostering a strong culture of quality across the plant.
• Own and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and customer requirements.
• Provide oversight of QA and QC operations, including laboratory activities, batch disposition, material controls, and documentation control.
• Govern change control, data integrity, and Good Documentation Practices across all quality records and systems.
• Lead validation and qualification programs to maintain a state of control.
• Partner with the Plant Manager to integrate quality into operational strategy and capital planning.
• Ensure quality requirements are embedded in capital projects and facility upgrades.
• Lead audit preparation, execution, response, and closure, ensuring effective CAPA management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, foods, or supplements industry.
• Broad working knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and global regulations.
• Strong leadership and influence skills.
• Proven people management, coaching, and development skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience managing 3rd party and FDA inspections is preferred.
• Flexibility to travel as needed.

Nice to Have

• Some Quality or Microbiology Laboratory experience preferred.
