About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Tester for Disputes/Transactional Processing to join our dynamic team. This is a contract opportunity that offers the flexibility of remote work. As a Senior QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our transactional processing systems, particularly in the area of disputes. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate testing activities, serving as the primary point of contact with full accountability.
  • Design, develop, and execute complex test cases while writing user stories and SQL queries.
  • Manage test environments, resources, defects, metrics, and escalations through resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and improve quality.
  • Provide testing metrics, status reporting, and advanced testing expertise.
  • Utilize SQL to validate source-to-target data mappings and identify data inconsistencies.
  • Support UAT and audit requirements across multiple platforms.
  • Communicate testing outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders, including product risk and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA testing, particularly in disputes or transactional processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong manual testing skills and familiarity with qTest.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and document defects.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey testing outcomes effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with advanced Excel features such as Power Query.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
