Senior Product Designer - Remote Role for AI Photo Editing

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team at Photoroom, a leading AI photo editing platform. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience across our mobile, web, and API products. This Senior Product Designer remote position allows you to work autonomously while making a significant impact on products used by millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with engineers to translate designs into production, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Utilize your creativity and mastery of design tools to create impactful designs that balance platform standards and brand expression.
• Focus on delivering real impact by prioritizing product outcomes over endless refinements.
• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to enhance your design process, allowing you to concentrate on high-impact execution.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams across Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning to ensure coherence across all platforms.

Requirements

• Active portfolio showcasing recent mobile UI work with a strong eye for typography, color, and space.
• Proven ability to balance speed and impact, delivering quality designs at pace.
• Experience working with design systems and understanding design as an interconnected system.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate design decisions effectively to various stakeholders.
• Cross-platform design experience, including mockups and prototypes for mobile and web interfaces.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a freelancer or in building creative tools at an early stage.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
