About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team at Photoroom, a leading AI photo editing platform. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences across our mobile, web, and API products. This Senior Product Designer remote position offers you the opportunity to work autonomously while collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to create impactful designs.

What You'll Do

• Design end-to-end user experiences, from research and UX to UI and design systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to bring designs into production, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to reality.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance your design process, focusing on high-impact execution rather than endless refinement.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams including Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning.
• Balance speed and polish in your designs, prioritizing product impact and pragmatic decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile UI work.
• Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Ability to articulate design decisions clearly and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience working with design systems and understanding responsive design requirements.
• Action-oriented and pragmatic approach to design, delivering quality work at pace.

Nice to Have

• Experience as a freelancer or in a startup environment.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts as they relate to design.
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools.
