Senior Product Designer - Remote for DeFi Startup

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our remote team and supercharge our design efforts in the DeFi space. As a Senior Product Designer remote, you will craft world-class interfaces for complex ecosystems, owning Figma-based workflows, and bridging the gap between design, product, and front-end development.

What You'll Do

• Lead UI design across multiple digital platforms with pixel-perfect execution.
• Build and maintain a scalable, robust design system in Figma, including Auto Layout, variables, component sets, organizing and publishing libraries, and interactive prototyping.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to convert designs into real, functioning features, utilizing your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Apply design thinking methodologies: user research, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement.
• Bring clarity to complexity, especially for data-heavy, visually rich experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product or UI design.
• Exceptional Figma skills: fluent with Auto Layout, variables, component sets, and prototyping.
• Basic coding knowledge: able to navigate HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid practice of the design thinking process, from discovery to iteration.
• Experience in Web3 or related fields, particularly in DeFi, crypto platforms, or blockchain interfaces.

Nice to Have

• Background in Fintech, tradfi, or B2B software design.
• Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills.
• Experience building or scaling design systems.
