Senior Payroll Analyst - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is crucial for processing and correcting payroll transactions for various countries, particularly those that are larger and more complex. You will support pre-payroll and year-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll processing.
What You'll Do
- Partner with internal stakeholders and Global Payroll Vendors (GPV) to process payroll and resolve payroll transaction errors.
- Review and validate payroll files and reports generated internally or by GPV, approving them for processing.
- Support pre-payroll activities, including finalizing data entry and confirming the completeness of time and payroll data.
- Assist in resolving input errors from third-party vendors or internal AbbVie stakeholders.
- Contribute to year-end payroll processing activities, including developing payroll calendars and reviewing year-end tax reports.
- Respond to inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding payroll data and reports.
- Lead smaller global, regional, and country-specific projects while participating in global project teams.
- Some travel may be required to support payroll operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5-7 years of operational payroll experience.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of Workday and experience integrating with third-party applications.
- Strong customer orientation and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Good analytical and process diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
