Senior Marketing Director - Grid Automation (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Director - Grid Automation to join our team at GE Vernova. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead the Grid Automation North America Strategy & Growth organization, focusing on developing and executing growth strategies for our extensive portfolio. As a Senior Marketing Director remote, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and brand growth across various channels.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 8 marketing leaders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Develop and execute comprehensive market growth strategies for the North America Grid Automation organization.
• Act as the liaison between the Grid Automation sales team and product line, ensuring alignment and strategic execution.
• Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities and guide the organization in developing effective marketing strategies.
• Facilitate growth campaigns to expand business outreach and enhance customer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and R&D, to drive strategic initiatives.
• Lead the Annual Market Assessment for the region, refining strategies based on emerging details.
• Support customer engagement and technical discussions for new solutions and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Strategic Marketing and/or Product Management.
• At least 10 years of experience in applicable markets, including distribution, transmission, industrial, and renewables.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
• Proven track record of developing successful strategic marketing initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with polished presentation abilities.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and establish clarity in processes.
