About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manual QA Tester to join our growing SaaS business in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior Manual QA Tester, you will take full ownership of manual testing and shape the QA processes from day one. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a senior engineering team where you will focus on edge cases, system behavior, and real-world risk assessment. You will have the authority to block releases when necessary, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
What You'll Do
- Own manual testing processes from end to end, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Conduct functional, exploratory, and regression testing to validate software quality.
- Test APIs across REST and GraphQL, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Validate data using SQL to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with developers to address issues and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in manual QA testing, with a strong focus on exploratory testing.
- Comfortable working as the sole QA in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with SQL and API testing is essential.
- Confident and self-sufficient, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
