About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations (Consumer Protection) to join our dynamic team at Flex, a growth-stage FinTech company headquartered in New York City. As a Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations (Consumer Protection), you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience across all touchpoints of the customer journey. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with the Director of the Consumer Protection Team and collaborate with various departments, including Analytics, Data Science, Product, and Customer Success. You will be instrumental in identifying customer experience insights, addressing pain points, and optimizing product and service quality for the future.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with the Director of the Consumer Protection Team to set strategic goals and frameworks for execution.
  • Utilize your analytical skills to identify key challenges and prioritize customer experience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and functional leads to ensure effective prioritization of customer experience priorities.
  • Work with Analytics and Data Science teams to test hypotheses and build lasting infrastructure around insights.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, adapting rapidly to shifting priorities.
  • Prepare executive-level reports to facilitate strategic discussions and ensure alignment on key initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, navigating complex problems with agility.
  • Operate at high levels of productivity, dealing constructively with pressure and debate.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting, strategy, or high-growth tech/fintech environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with data; familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex topics clearly to executives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for customer impact and problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment.

Nice to Have

  • SQL proficiency is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a high-growth tech or fintech company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to drive results through collaboration.

This Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations (Consumer Protection) role is a hybrid position with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our New York Headquarters.
