Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel - Litigation Remote to join our dynamic team at xAI. This role offers the unique opportunity to manage litigation portfolios while working remotely, contributing to our mission of enhancing humanity's understanding through advanced AI systems.

What You'll Do

• Manage xAI’s litigation portfolio in collaboration with outside counsel.
• Provide counsel on litigation risks and legal strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal issues.
• Oversee coordination with external counsel.
• Draft and prepare court filings.
• Coordinate with international teams on government demands.
• Address Indian law enforcement requests.
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory landscapes.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of litigation experience in Indian courts.
• Experience in a law firm preferred.
• Exceptional brief-writing and communication skills.
• Proven track record of winning cases.
• Experience with adversarial litigation involving government agencies.
• Experience advising global companies.
• Experience with a global technology company is highly desirable.
• Collaborative working style with global colleagues.
• Strong understanding of legal issues around user-generated content.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI and technology-related legal issues.
• Experience in international law.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
