Project Manager - Water Resources (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager - Water Resources (Remote) to lead our Water, Wastewater, and Water Resources practice. This is a unique opportunity to work with a consulting firm that specializes in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. You will play a critical role in managing various utility design projects while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Manage Water, Wastewater, and Water Resources projects, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.
• Supervise technical staff on complex projects, providing guidance and support.
• Prepare project proposals and budgets, aligning with company standards.
• Ensure project implementation aligns with company procedures and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate effectively with peers and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Track project budgets and invoicing, ensuring financial accountability.
• Develop marketing materials for projects to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Manage and develop project staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• This is a remote position, with required travel for project-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, particularly in water resources.
• Registered Professional Engineer or relevant certification is required.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, and SWMM.
• Strong understanding of stormwater regulations and sustainable practices.
• Experience managing multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive project success.

Nice to Have

• Experience in environmental consulting or sustainability initiatives.
• Familiarity with advanced project management software.
• Certification in project management (PMP or similar).
