About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team, working on exciting projects for Japanese government agencies. This Senior Java Developer remote position offers the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers in a professional international environment, ensuring stability and opportunities for career growth.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in the full development cycle including Basic Design (BD), Detailed Design (DD), Development, and Testing.
  • Work closely with Japanese clients to analyze and clarify requirements.
  • Review design documents and propose technical solutions and performance improvements.
  • Coordinate with BrSE/PM and the Vietnam development team to ensure project quality and schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding source code and system modules.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Java, including at least 1 year with Spring Boot.
  • Experience in system design: BD (Basic Design) & DD (Detailed Design).
  • Strong ability to read and understand source code; solid logical thinking and understanding of system architecture & data flow.
  • Japanese communication skills equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher.
  • Proficiency in technical tools: Git, Git Flow, VS Code/IntelliJ.

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing systems for Japanese government or administrative agencies.
  • Knowledge in AWS, J2EE, large-scale systems, or Japanese technical document writing.

What We Offer

  • Total annual income of 5,500,000 - 6,500,000 JPY, including 14 months of salary.
  • Salary review twice a year in April and October.
  • Overtime payment following Japanese Labor Law.
  • Full social insurance coverage according to Japanese law.
  • Relocation support including visa, housing, flight ticket, and assistance.
