About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Funds Lawyer to join Avantia Law in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial for our expansion in the Americas, where you will lead our funds practice and drive significant change in how legal services are delivered in this sector.

What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a modern funds practice with strategic backing from the firm.
• Work directly with decision-makers to facilitate rapid decision-making and implementation.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of lawyers, technologists, and operations specialists.
• Shape the strategy and infrastructure of a global funds practice powered by AI.
• Utilize your legal expertise to manage risk and accelerate client deals.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in funds law or a related field.
• Strong understanding of asset management and private equity.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and mentor a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
