Senior Full-Stack Java and Front-End Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Jelurida is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java and Front-End Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will participate in the development of our Ardor blockchain platform, focusing on enhancing the browser-based wallet UI. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the blockchain space.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain the front-end of our Ardor blockchain wallet using modern UI frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Write clean, understandable, and self-documented code while paying attention to performance and concurrency issues.
• Make informed decisions regarding libraries and tools to streamline UI development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take projects through the full development lifecycle, from conception to completion.
• Utilize your strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges.
• Implement server-side core Java applications and work with relational databases and servlets.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, particularly with Java and modern front-end frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming and networking.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own projects effectively.
• Fluency in written and verbal English is required.
• Previous experience with blockchain platforms and financial applications is a plus, but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cryptography and security best practices.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
