About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team at MyEdSpace, an innovative education technology platform. This Senior Full-Stack Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on a mission-driven project aimed at transforming education globally. You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of online learning by developing robust backend services and engaging frontend components.

What You'll Do

• Design and build end-to-end product features across backend services and our React frontend.
• Develop well-structured, testable backend services using Java and Node.js, paired with clean, reusable frontend components in React and TypeScript.
• Contribute to a multi-stack production environment, improving existing systems thoughtfully while helping evolve the overall architecture.
• Model domains, define boundaries, and contribute to architectural decisions that maintain system coherence as it scales.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development while reviewing, validating, and refining generated code before it reaches production.
• Own work beyond feature delivery, focusing on CI/CD, observability, performance, and production behavior.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, emphasizing clarity, trade-offs, and engineering judgment.
• Enhance reliability, security, and operational robustness as the platform grows.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering experience with deep backend expertise in Java, Node.js, or a similar modern stack.
• Solid skills in React and TypeScript, with a comfort level in both backend services and UI development.
• Experience using AI tools as part of your workflow to enhance development processes.
• Strong understanding of system design, data modeling, and long-term maintainability.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Ability to think critically about engineering problems and prioritize sustainable solutions over mere feature delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
