About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front End Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team at QuillBot. As a Senior Front End Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience and ensuring high-quality code delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development of new features and modules for our web applications, ensuring timely delivery with minimal errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interfaces and simplify integrations, building reusable components and services.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and influencing architectural decisions.
• Drive engineering excellence through best practices in design documentation, code reviews, and testing strategies.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues across the stack, participating in on-call rotations to improve system reliability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in web technologies, particularly in Frontend development.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, ReactJS, and DOM manipulation.
• Proficient in at least one backend language such as Python or Node.js.
• Experience with high-scale production applications and a solid understanding of design patterns.
• Passionate about technology and staying updated with the latest developments in the field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cross-browser web extensions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, particularly on-device AI models.
