Senior Software Engineer - AWS Infrastructure for LIMS

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (AWS Infrastructure for LIMS) to join our team on a fully remote basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in AWS and infrastructure, particularly in the context of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in modernizing and optimizing our LIMS platform, ensuring its scalability and performance.

What You'll Do

• Design and support AWS-based infrastructure for LIMS platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work on VPC architecture, networking, and cloud security to enhance system reliability.
• Support deployment and scaling of LabVantage environments, collaborating closely with engineering and DevOps teams.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with AWS services such as VPC, EC2, IAM, and networking.
• Experience supporting LIMS platforms, ideally LabVantage.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure design principles.
• Experience in regulated environments, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies is beneficial.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
