Senior Cyber Security GRC Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security GRC Specialist to join Bayer's dynamic team. This remote opportunity allows you to contribute to the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of cyber security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities. You will partner with cyber security, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure adherence to Bayer policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Support cyber security risk management activities to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cyber security assurance principles into business processes.
• Provide guidance on cyber security assurance topics across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends, summarizing impacts to policies and risk posture.
• Coordinate evidence collection and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives by tracking milestones and producing high-quality deliverables.
• Support the continuous improvement of the data classification framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cyber security or IT governance.
• Working knowledge of information security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF).
• Experience supporting risk management frameworks and control assessment activities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
