Senior Event Manager - Remote Role for EMEA Events

About the Role

Monks is seeking a Senior Event Manager - Remote to oversee exciting events across the EMEA and LATAM regions. This role requires fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English, allowing you to effectively support developer events and collaborate with clients to create, plan, execute, and measure impactful events. As a Senior Event Manager, you will be instrumental in building events for multinational clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and strategic alignment with client objectives.

What You'll Do

• Deliver outstanding quality support to the marketing events and programs run by the Client team.
• Work closely with your Client team point of contact on event data and audience development for multiple EMEA events.
• Maintain spreadsheets with extreme attention to detail, ensuring accurate data management.
• Take ownership of event reporting during and post-event, providing insights and analytics.
• Manage project timelines and plans, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.
• Collaborate effectively with external partners, creative agencies, and internal cross-functional teams, including PR, Sales, and Logistics.
• Act as a trusted project lead, reporting to our Event Director.
• Create high-quality, high-touch creative events that communicate brand value and build brand equity.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in event and project management, with a strong focus on both in-person and virtual events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Brazilian Portuguese and English.
• Strong capabilities in financial planning, including building and managing event budgets.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in building strong client relationships and delivering positive experiences that meet business expectations.
• Proficiency in diverse communication and website management platforms, with a proactive mindset towards leveraging AI for workflow optimization.
• BA/BS degree required.
• Willingness to travel for live events and site visits as required.
