Senior Event Manager - Global Conferences (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead our global event initiatives. This Senior Event Manager remote position offers the opportunity to manage high-profile medical conferences and symposiums while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of medical conferences, symposiums, workshops, and networking events.
• Develop detailed event timelines, project plans, and budgets.
• Ensure smooth on-site event execution including registration, speaker coordination, and session management.
• Coordinate with delegates, keynote speakers, and panellists.
• Manage communication with sponsors, exhibitors, and partners.
• Identify and manage vendors for venues, AV production, branding, printing, catering, and event technology.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective vendor management.
• Oversee logistics including stage setup, delegate kits, conference materials, and signage.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare event performance reports.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in event management, particularly in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting and vendor negotiation.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with international events, hybrid events, and virtual events.
