Senior EDI Integration Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior EDI Integration Engineer to join our innovative team at ecosio. This remote position offers you the opportunity to optimize e-invoicing and global supply chains while working with a leading provider of B2B integration solutions. As a Senior EDI Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and technically implementing e-invoicing and EDI projects on our cloud platform.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary interface between our customers, their ERP systems, and our SaaS platform.
• Independently progress integration projects after handover from Sales.
• Communicate effectively with partner companies, customers, and their suppliers.
• Coordinate mappings for e-invoicing and EDI integration with the document engineering team.
• Encourage the evaluation and implementation of new tools and processes for project success.
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers as a sparring partner.
• Ensure the successful execution of each project through proactive management.
• Participate in the onboarding of new customers and guide them through the integration process.

Requirements

• Several years of work experience in e-invoicing and/or EDI.
• Experience with the integration of ERP import and export interfaces based on XML, CSV, and IDocs.
• Knowledge of EDI onboardings, EDI service providers, and Value Added Networks (VANs).
• Familiarity with national e-invoicing mandates around the globe.
• In-depth knowledge of EDI formats like XML, EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and VDA, as well as EDI protocols like AS2, OFTP2, or PEPPOL.
• Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Know-how in project management, supply chain management, and/or logistics.
