Senior DevSecOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is crucial in supporting our infrastructure Information Technology team and ensuring the security and efficiency of our development platform. As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer remote, you will play a vital role in our National Security and Defense mission.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, secure, and sustain the Development Platform that supports software delivery across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ensure the platform’s security posture remains compliant with required standards.
• Contribute to architecture and requirements decomposition.
• Support day-to-day development, testing, operations, and sustainment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and operate independently in a remote setting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined professional experience in roles such as Network, Cloud, Security, Software, DevOps/DevSecOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud services, software development, and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with technologies including Kubernetes, Nexus, GitLab/GitLab CI, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, Grafana, Prometheus, and Coder.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with at least one common programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Go).

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitOps practices and tooling, including Helm, Kustomize, and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with core networking concepts and services, including DNS, TLS certificates, and load balancing.
• Experience working with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CMMC, RMF, and SSDF.
