Senior DevOps Engineer - TravelTech Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Coherent Solutions. This remote DevOps Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an award-winning travel company that connects travelers with a nationwide network of independent travel advisors. You will play a crucial role in modernizing the company’s CRM platform, which is transitioning to a cloud-native architecture on Azure.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for Azure PaaS services.
• Deploy and manage Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Support Azure SQL operations including deployments, tuning, and backups.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Monitor infrastructure health, optimize costs, and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Azure cloud platform, focused on PaaS services.
• Strong experience with Bitbucket and Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Proven experience managing Azure SQL databases.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Solid understanding of Azure security and networking fundamentals.
• Experience working in Agile / Kanban environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog and Cloudflare.
• Familiarity with Twilio and SendGrid for communication integrations.
