Senior DevOps Engineer - Lead Release Engineering Team (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our Release Engineering team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal as we transition to a GitOps model, and you will play a crucial part in shaping our CI/CD infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for our CI/CD infrastructure.
• Drive the migration of service deployments to ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts, enhancing our deployment strategies.
• Develop internal services and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to optimize workflows, including environment management and release automation.
• Integrate security and quality checks within our pipelines using static analysis tools.
• Optimize build and distribution pipelines for mobile and web applications, ensuring infrastructure stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or Release Engineering with proven leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts.
• Practical experience with GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Solid experience with Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and message brokers.
• Familiarity with mobile and web application delivery.

Nice to Have

• Experience integrating AI tools into development processes.
• Familiarity with Service Catalogs.
• Proven track record of implementing technological changes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and HashiCorp Vault.
