Senior DevOps/​CloudOps/​AI Platform Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps/CloudOps/AI Platform Engineer to join our Client’s team in a remote work model from Portugal. This Senior DevOps/CloudOps/AI Platform Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.
• Build and support scalable AI/ML platforms and data pipelines.
• Work with Databricks on Azure for data processing, analytics, and ML workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments (IaC).
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and developers to enable efficient workflows.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in DevOps, CloudOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience supporting data or AI/ML platforms is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• English level C1 or higher.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud cost management tools.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
