Senior Data Scientist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Unisys. What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes.
• Manage and maintain existing databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Develop and refine economic models, utilizing advanced data science techniques including machine learning.
• Create, coordinate, and review methods for sensitivity analysis and model evaluation.
• Prepare technical and scientific documentation and reports for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts, customers, project leaders, and developers.
• Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies in data science.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, Level 6 EQF) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in statistical data analysis and economic modeling (5+ years).
• Strong ability to handle large datasets and proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Excellent knowledge of economic modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new technologies.
• Ability to produce clear and structured technical documentation.
• Team-oriented mindset with effective collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-level modeling languages.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks.
• Prior experience in a remote work environment.
