About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Data Scientist remote to join our innovative team at Codat. As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll lead the charge in developing high-quality, data-driven solutions that tackle complex challenges in the FinTech space.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a technical leader and mentor, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Utilize your domain expertise to develop actionable intelligence from connected financial data.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML into our products, enhancing client value.
  • Champion the use of AI tools to streamline operations and improve team productivity.
  • Take ownership of large-scale projects from discovery to production, balancing speed and quality.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices in data science.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to automate the delivery of data science products.

Requirements

  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas).
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with big data platforms like Databricks.
  • Extensive experience in MLOps, including model deployment and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Exceptional communication skills to influence product strategy through data-driven narratives.
  • A degree in a STEM field is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless applications and containerization.
  • Knowledge of data protection and security practices.
  • Familiarity with MLflow and automation tools.
