Senior Data Engineer - Remote Position at Razor

About the Role

Razor is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will design and build scalable data ingestion ETL/ELT pipelines that normalize data to support quality reporting, risk adjustment, and regulatory programs. As a Senior Data Engineer remote, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accessibility of our data.

What You'll Do

• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to facilitate data processing.
• Build data models for quality and risk adjustment reporting.
• Maintain data lineage, provenance, and traceability throughout the data lifecycle.
• Implement automated validation and quality monitoring to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with actuarial, quality, compliance, and analytics teams to align data strategies.
• Optimize pipeline performance in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Document transformations, mappings, and governance controls for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data warehouses and data marts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, Airflow, and dbt.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks.
