Senior Data Engineer - Remote Opportunity in AdTech

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Kayzen, a leading mobile demand-side platform (DSP) in the AdTech space. This Senior Data Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team focused on bridging the gap between data science and engineering. You will play a crucial role in transforming how we manage and utilize data to drive business growth.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement innovative solutions for handling petabytes of data with billions of rows and joins.
• Create real-time and offline feature generation pipelines to enhance our data infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve our fleet of data servers, ensuring reliability and efficiency in processing billions of logs and data points.
• Develop and productionize data pipelines for machine learning models in both bare-metal and cloud environments.
• Lead projects aimed at improving our data processing capabilities and contribute to team success.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in creating and maintaining big data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Spark infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python and Java.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in big data processing pipelines using tools like Python, Spark, and Airflow.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Clickhouse and ad-tech environments.
• Familiarity with real-time big data processing techniques.
• General understanding of machine learning techniques and frameworks such as MLflow, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
