Senior Data Analyst - Financial Health for Innovative Banking

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst - Financial Health to join our innovative team at Monzo. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the UK while contributing to our mission of making money work for everyone. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in improving financial support for our customers in need.

What You'll Do

• Generate insights that can drive the direction of our Financial Health strategy through proactive analysis.
• Bring data-driven rigor to our approach to product development while structuring complex projects to bring them to life.
• Work and advise on Financial Health’s global expansion strategy.
• Develop and maintain Looker dashboards, reports, and metrics that assess business and customer outcomes within Financial Health.
• Ensure accurate reporting to third parties and regulators.
• Build and maintain controls to ensure our business processes are running as intended.
• Lead projects to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility of our data.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis tools.
• Solid grounding in SQL and experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and dbt.
• Hands-on experience in generating actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Experience in Financial Health is a plus but not required.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Python for data science.
• Experience with AWS for backend infrastructure.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
