Senior Business Intelligence Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our team remotely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading client from North America. As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and modernizing Business Intelligence architecture, ensuring that solutions are scalable and performant in an enterprise environment. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Latin America, specifically Brazil or Argentina, during local core business hours.

What You'll Do

• Develop and drive business adoption of OLAP Cubes using SSRS, SSAS (MDX), and Azure Analysis Services.
• Build and maintain Power BI datasets, including DAX and data modeling, to support data mart and data warehouse architecture.
• Conduct data analysis using SQL and perform data cleansing and processing in Python and other languages.
• Highlight trends and relationships through effective visualizations, enhancing decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best-in-class Business Intelligence solutions.
• Utilize Azure storage and compute services to build data processing pipelines and reports/cubes on SSRS and SSAS.
• Manage source code and configuration management, ensuring security and performance in CI/CD environments.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and proactively resolve problems to meet business and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence solution development.
• Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and data modeling.
• Strong background in building OLAP Cubes and familiarity with Azure Analysis Services.
• Experience in data analysis, data cleansing, and processing using Python.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile development methods and a self-starter attitude.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively and make a significant impact on business outcomes.
• Experience in building, testing, and deploying code on Snowflake cloud datalake is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and supply chain/finance.
