Senior Business Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team at Tailored Management. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in transforming high-level challenges into actionable deliverables, particularly in the EdTech sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build impactful digital learning solutions for K-12 educators and students.

What You'll Do

• Connect the Why to the What: Collaborate with product leadership to understand the problems to be solved, infusing project goals and prioritization into the team's work.
• Participate in user research and UX sessions, synthesizing feedback into actionable requirements and user stories.
• Write user stories that ensure accessibility compliance based on inputs from various stakeholders.
• Drive cross-team collaboration by coordinating with supporting teams to clarify and prioritize program-specific requirements.
• Maintain and groom the backlog with engineers, ensuring JIRA tickets are properly labeled and organized.
• Serve as scrum master, leading agile ceremonies such as standups, retrospectives, sprint planning, and grooming sessions.
• Monitor team health and address continuous improvement opportunities.
• Deliver customer value by ensuring the quality of user stories and features before release.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience in EdTech, Education, or Digital Content Development is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in Agile-based software development teams.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
