Senior Business Analyst - Driving Data-Driven Decisions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst remote to join our dynamic team at Limehome. In this role, you will own high-impact analytics end-to-end and become a strategic partner driving real business decisions, not just reporting numbers. You will act as a trusted advisor to Product, Business, and Leadership, proactively identifying opportunities where data can drive growth and better decisions.

What You'll Do

• Define and own core business and product KPIs, ensuring consistent definitions across the organization.
• Lead complex analytics projects end-to-end: from problem framing to data modeling, analysis, and stakeholder communication.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured analytical approaches and scalable data solutions.
• Design and build scalable data models and high-quality dashboards to enable self-service analytics.
• Deep dive into product and business performance (funnels, KPIs, cohorts) to generate actionable insights.
• Build and optimize advanced SQL queries and data pipelines (e.g., in BigQuery or similar data warehouses).
• Partner closely with Data Engineering on data architecture, data quality, and performance optimization.
• Drive improvements in data governance, quality, and metric consistency across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Product Analytics, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
• Advanced expertise in SQL (complex joins, window functions, query optimization, performance tuning).
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or modeling.
• Solid experience in data modeling (e.g., star schema, fact/dimension tables, metric layer design).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Strong understanding of product and business analytics concepts (funnels, KPIs, experimentation, cohort analysis).
• Experience working with modern data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery or similar).
• Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML applications in analytics.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring junior analysts and helping raise the analytics bar across the organization.
• Familiarity with next-generation BI and analytics solutions (e.g., AI/LLM-based tools).
