Senior ArcGIS Enterprise Deployment Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ArcGIS Enterprise Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this remote position, you will implement advanced ArcGIS deployments, analyze and solve technical problems, and optimize performance and organization. You will consult with end users on advanced enterprise deployment, architecture, and integration topics, making a significant impact on communities worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS in various environments across operating systems, cloud providers, and security architectures to meet customer service level agreements.
• Plan and execute the migration of content between ArcGIS deployments, encompassing different architectures and deployment strategies.
• Identify, design, and deliver mission-focused GIS workflows and applications aligned with customer operational needs.
• Provide guidance on ArcGIS Enterprise best practices, including Portal administration and platform optimization.
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, offering guidance on platform components such as storage, networking, and security.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Facilitate coordination with Esri developers, product engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Travel occasionally to customer locations for demonstrations, planning, and technical exchanges.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or comparable IT systems.
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#).
• Familiarity with network concepts (domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls).
• Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field.

Nice to Have

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise and its associated APIs.
• System administration experience on Kubernetes.
• Master's degree in a related field.
