Senior AI Systems Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Platform Engineering. This Senior AI Systems Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our data infrastructure and systems that power our operations. You will be part of a community that connects over 35,000 platform engineers worldwide, enhancing how teams build and scale internal developer platforms.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve our data infrastructure, including Supabase, n8n workflows, and HubSpot integrations.
• Take technical ownership of our content production engine, ensuring efficient tooling and automation pipelines.
• Design user journey integrations into existing solutions, enhancing user experience through UI interfaces.
• Maintain a modular and replaceable tech stack by continuously evaluating tools and making necessary adjustments.
• Systematically reduce manual overhead by implementing automations and agent workflows to replace repetitive tasks.
• Collaborate with leadership on architectural decisions and infrastructure direction, contributing as a peer rather than just an implementer.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in database schemas, REST/GraphQL API integrations, and automation pipelines.
• Fluency with AI as a development tool, with experience using tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to prioritize impactful systems and own a roadmap.
• Experience in software development and familiarity with HubSpot APIs or AI agent frameworks is a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in marketing/content automation.
• Strong communication skills to engage in architecture discussions with leadership.
