About the Role

We are excited to offer a Security Vulnerability Intern - Summer 2026 - Remote position at HUB International. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in information security while contributing to our Vulnerability Management program. As a Security Vulnerability Intern, you will learn to utilize centralized tooling for risk detection and evaluate risk by analyzing vulnerability scan data.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the Vulnerability Management program, gaining practical experience in cybersecurity.
  • Learn to utilize centralized tooling for effective risk detection and analysis.
  • Support the administration of Security Architecture tooling to enhance security measures.
  • Collaborate with technical and business units to identify innovative solutions for vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Vulnerability Management program.
  • Network with industry leaders and peers to enhance your professional connections.
  • Engage in meaningful projects and present your recommendations to the team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program.
  • Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Desire to learn and adapt in a corporate environment.
  • Strong self-starter and collaboration skills.
  • Research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and security technologies.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
