Robotics Applications Engineer - AI Robotics

About the Role

We are seeking a Robotics Applications Engineer to join our team at RoboForce, an AI robotics company focused on developing Physical AI-powered Robo-Labor for challenging industrial tasks. This Robotics Applications Engineer remote role is crucial as it bridges our R&D team with real-world deployment, ensuring our robots are ready for customer handoff.

What You'll Do

• Feature Integration & Hardening: Engineer newly developed capabilities for real-world robustness through stress testing and reliability improvements.
• System Triage & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate complex system failures by analyzing field logs and resolving issues.
• Field Deployment & Fleet Support: Participate in robot deployments and manage configuration across a growing fleet.
• Developer Tooling & Automation: Build scripts and tools that enhance team velocity and improve deployment processes.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex embedded systems.
• Strong command of C++ and Python for core robot systems and tooling.
• Deep comfort in Linux environments, including system administration and networking.
• Proven debugging skills to trace failures from high-level issues to low-level causes.

Nice to Have

• Experience with outdoor robotics, autonomous driving, or drones.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building visualization tools for system diagnostics.
