About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist - Remote Opportunity to join our team at Mediclinic Group. This role offers the chance to perform pulmonary function testing and respiratory therapy remotely, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. You will work under the supervision of licensed physicians, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and lung volume studies, ensuring adherence to patient safety standards.
- Perform polysomnography tests according to established protocols.
- Evaluate data and clinical documentation for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current license and registration as a Pulmonary Function Technologist.
- At least 2 years of postgraduate experience in a similar role.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and strong computer literacy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
