Remote Technical Project Manager - Data Platform Focus

About the Role

We’re looking for a Remote Technical Project Manager to drive high-impact initiatives across our Data Platform. As a Technical Project Manager at Rula, you will lead complex, cross-functional projects that build, enhance, and scale our data infrastructure, including our data lake, data vault, data marts, reverse ETL pipelines, and operational reporting systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that mental health is treated as a priority, and your contributions will directly impact the quality of care we provide.

What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional projects involving Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and various business units to deliver robust data solutions.
• Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization, managing the backlog and identifying tech debt.
• Coordinate external communications during incidents or ongoing issues, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, collaborating with teams to scope projects effectively.
• Support agile execution by tracking dependencies and managing project timelines.

Requirements

• 6 years of technical project management experience, preferably in SaaS or healthcare environments.
• Strong familiarity with AWS data services and modern data stack components.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional data projects.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing projects using Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4 years focused on data platform initiatives.
• AWS certifications or similar credentials.
• Experience in healthcare tech or regulated data environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services and modern data stack tools.
