About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Talent Acquisition Partner to join vCluster Labs, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering talent pool. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Technical), you will not just fill positions; you will architect our engineering capability by attracting top talent in the Kubernetes virtualization space.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full-cycle technical recruiting process for Engineering, Product, and Technical roles globally, ensuring a seamless candidate experience from initial screening to offer acceptance.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates from the open-source, Kubernetes, and developer tool communities, building high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Champion a data-driven hiring strategy by utilizing structured interviews and scorecards to minimize bias, while maintaining data integrity within our ATS (Ashby).
  • Drive exceptional candidate experiences through transparent communication, ensuring decisions are made swiftly.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to define technical requirements and ideal candidate profiles, acting as a consultant on market trends and closing strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles within high-growth tech startups.
  • Strong technical fluency in technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, and Terraform, enabling effective communication with candidates.
  • A builder mindset with a focus on refining processes for efficiency.
  • A data-centric approach to decision-making, valuing results over tasks.
  • High emotional intelligence and active listening skills to understand the perspectives of both candidates and hiring managers.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency with ATS systems, particularly Ashby.
  • Experience recruiting for open-source technology or developer tools.
  • A background in hiring for distributed or remote-first teams.
