As a support engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers resolve issues and answer questions related to the installation, configuration, performance-tuning, and use of our product. You will be part of a team that has been delivering enterprise-class data replication solutions for over 30 years, ensuring our clients can manage their data pipelines effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical support to customers using Stelo Data Replicator, addressing issues related to installation and configuration.
  • Assist customers in performance-tuning their database systems, including Db2, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Resolve networking issues in both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance product features based on customer feedback.
  • Document support processes and customer interactions to improve service quality.

Requirements

  • Strong background in relational databases such as Db2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience in providing technical support in a cloud or on-premise environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a support engineer or database administrator role.
