In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that resonates with our audience and promotes outdoor exploration. As a Social Media Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and inspiring people to connect with nature.

What You'll Do

  • Concept, create, and edit platform-native social media content, primarily focusing on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social content calendar, ensuring timely and culturally relevant publishing.
  • Spot and adapt trends, formats, and cultural moments that align with the AllTrails brand.
  • Write clear and engaging captions and short-form copy that reflect our brand voice.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and cross-functional partners to bring campaigns and key moments to life.
  • Incorporate user-generated content and community insights in partnership with the Community Manager.
  • Track content performance to understand audience engagement and refine our social media strategy.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience creating content for social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of short-form video and platform-native storytelling.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and eager to learn and grow within the team.
  • Passionate about social media, digital culture, and the outdoors.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analytics tools to measure content performance.
  • Familiarity with outdoor recreation and trail exploration.
