What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage comprehensive end-to-end program plans, including schedules, metrics, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical, to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Establish and manage internal processes that facilitate effective communication and project tracking.
  • Clearly communicate program status, risks, and milestones to project stakeholders.
  • Focus on Infrastructure and Operations, including compute resources, to support Planet's mission.
  • Foster a people-centric culture that prioritizes team member well-being and encourages growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in the software or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and operations, including cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience in the space or data industry is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
