About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ping Identity. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based services, which are integral to our mission of providing seamless digital experiences. Your expertise will help us maintain the infrastructure of one of the largest identity platforms in the world.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and deliver robust solutions for our cloud-hosted production infrastructure.
  • Establish and maintain infrastructure solutions that support continuous deployment and integration.
  • Review and provide feedback on solutions delivered by other engineers, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support our services and ensure uptime.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably with AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment and understanding of CI/CD practices.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
