What You'll Do

  • Utilize your knowledge of multithreaded programming to enhance server performance.
  • Contribute to the security of our applications, particularly around virtual currency transactions.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest technologies in gaming architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on server-side development.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Python, PHP, Perl, or Ruby, with a strong emphasis on Python.
  • Deep understanding of distributed and scalable systems.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in online gaming architecture is a plus.
  • A passion for video games and a desire to create exceptional gaming experiences.
