About the Role

1inch is seeking a Remote Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key player in our Data & Analytics team, you will enhance our data infrastructure and ensure high-quality data delivery. This Remote Senior Data Engineer position allows you to work from anywhere, provided you are within +/- 4 hours of GST time, particularly focusing on candidates based in Dubai or Europe.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for both on-chain and off-chain data transformation.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
  • Implement validation and monitoring systems to guarantee data accuracy.
  • Conduct data quality audits and address any identified issues.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and other functional teams to develop effective data solutions.
  • Present complex data concepts in an understandable manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Introduce new tools and best practices to enhance the capabilities of the Data & Analytics team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable data solutions.
  • Proficiency in BigQuery, Trino, PostgreSQL, DBT, and Airbyte.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and TypeScript.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry trends in data engineering.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with crypto/Web3 analytical tools (Dune, Nodes, Flipside).
  • Understanding of low-level blockchain data (traces, events).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake).
  • Experience in creating dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
