Remote Senior Accountant - Join a Leading Community Platform

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team at Circle. As we scale to $100M+ ARR, we need a detail-oriented accounting professional to strengthen our financial operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This is a hands-on accounting role reporting to the Controller. You'll be responsible for managing the monthly close process, overseeing day-to-day accounts payable operations, and supporting accounts receivable functions. Your work will be critical to maintaining the integrity of our financial records and providing management with reliable monthly financial statements.

What You'll Do

• Manage the monthly close process to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations and ensure accuracy.
• Support accounts receivable functions to maintain cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• Document and improve financial processes for efficiency.
• Participate in financial audits and assist with external reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration.
• CPA certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of international accounting standards.
