Remote Real Estate Counsel - Renewable Energy Focus

About the Role

Unison Infrastructure is seeking a Remote Real Estate Counsel to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our organization, you will support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets across the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the growth of our investment in telecom and renewable infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Lead efforts to support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the US.
• Manage a pipeline of deals, facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams.
• Negotiate and draft documents for commercial real estate transactions.
• Conduct due diligence activities and underwrite assets for lease terms, projected cash flow, and facility information.
• Advise on strategic transactions and commercial matters to ensure sound business decisions.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney, preferably at a mid to large-sized law firm.
• Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus.
• Juris Doctor and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Fluent with technology and remote work practices.
