About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join our innovative team at GHX. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical leader within the DevSecOps Center of Excellence (CoE), driving automation, security, observability, and cost optimization across the enterprise. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our DevSecOps practices while working remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the establishment of global standards, frameworks, and reusable automation modules for secure software delivery at scale.
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor within the organization, ensuring best practices are applied across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product development through thought leadership and reusable solutions.
  • Drive initiatives in cloud security and FinOps, optimizing costs while maintaining high security standards.
  • Utilize strong hands-on expertise in DevSecOps tooling to enhance our operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Principal DevSecOps Engineer or similar role with a focus on cloud security.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architectures and their security implications.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tooling and automation frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in cloud security or DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Experience in FinOps or cost optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations.
