About the Role

Newfi Lending is hiring a Remote Mortgage Closer to oversee the pipeline of loans through the closing process and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As a Remote Mortgage Closer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all loans fund as scheduled while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the pipeline of loans through the closing process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Balance Closing Disclosure and review files for the closing package.
• Review signed loan documents for proper execution.
• Ensure all loans fund as scheduled, working closely with investors and processors on post-funding conditions.
• Prepare perfect funding packages for capital markets.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to facilitate smooth closings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Closing and Funding.
• Knowledge of TRID regulations is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of lending guidelines for multiple states is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
